Charles "Tiger" Elden Thompson, 88, Passed from this life June 18, 2025. He was born February 6, 1937, in Muncie, Indiana. Charles was a high school graduate. He was a Marine in the United States Armed Forces and became a Muncie Firefighter, retiring after 20 years of service. Charles was the owner of Thompson Windows and More and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In loving memory, Charles is cherished by his beloved wife, Linda. On June 27, 2025, Charles and Linda would have celebrated their 68-wedding anniversary. Their blissful union began June 27, 1957. And from this union, there were born two sons Chris (Nikki) Thompson and Curt Thompson; sisters, Milla Finchum and Jama Mulleniex; grandchildren, Christy (Jacob) Lawrence, Natalie (Nicholas) Keyes, Caitlyn Thompson, and Brianna Thompson; great grandchildren, Millie, Charlie, Ella, and Remi.

Charles is predeceased by his parents, James and Lillian Perkins Thompson; sister, Susie O'Dell; brother, Zora Clevenger, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Thompson.

Ceremonies to celebrate the life of Charles are Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana 47303. Visitation is from 11am until 1pm and the funeral ceremony will begin at 1pm. Military Honors will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery and Mausoleum, at the mausoleum. The Thompson family and friends to come to dressed casual and comfortable.
