Christina L. Nunemaker, 58, of Muncie, passed away at 6:24 am, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, with family by her side, on January 11, 2026.  She was born in Muncie, Indiana, on August 5, 1967, to James "Bud" and Patsy (Garrett) Slaven. On February 6, 1996, she married Jonathan Nunemaker, who survives.

She graduated from North Side High School and graduated Amber's Beauty School.  She worked as a cashier for Eaton Liquors for 5 years.

Christina really enjoyed baking, gardening, her indoor plants, and watching her drama and romance shows.  Above all she loved being with family and watching her grandkids playing sports.

Surviving is the love of her life of almost 30 years, Jonathan Nunemaker; mother, Patsy Slaven; children, Kayla (Alex) Darlington, Danielle (Brock) Clark, Dakota Nunemaker; bonus son-in-law, Chad McCluney; brother, Brad (Beth) Slaven; sister, Serena (Craig) Holtzclaw; grandchildren, Kaysean, Harper, Karsyn, Liam, Addisyn, and unborn grandson; nieces, Tara (Matt) Pike and Jasmine Holtzclaw; great-nephew Cameron; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, James "Bud" Slaven.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 IN-3, Muncie, Indiana 47303.

A service celebrating Christina's life will follow at 1:00 pm.

Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Eaton.
