Christopher Scott "Beef" King, 45, of Muncie, died Sunday evening, January 4th, 2015 at his residence. He was born November 7th, 1969 in Muncie, IN and is the son of Ronald King & Claudette (Stamper) King.

Christopher was a truck driver for over 20 years. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. Christopher loved collecting and selling antiques. He never met a stranger, and enjoyed people. Christopher was a graduate of Cowan High School in 1988, and attended McCormick View Chapel Church.

Christopher is survived by his mother Claudette King of Muncie, and his father Ronald King of Haines City, FL; a sister Rhonda DeFrees (Phil) of Muncie; nephew Kristopher Bilbrey (Joni) of Winchester; nephew Andrew DeFrees (Ashley) of Houston, TX; great-nephew Kane DeFrees of Houston, TX; great niece Devyn DeFrees of Houston, TX; great nephew Cooper Mote of Winchester; great- niece Avery Mote of Winchester; aunt Martha Randall (Robert) of Hunterville, NC; aunt Jean Johnson of Muncie; aunt Vonnie Kidd (Charles) of Richmond; uncle Everett Stamper (Jan) of Pendleton; special friends Keith and Betty Orebaugh of Cowan, and Christie Goad of Cowan; a host of many friends and family also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Claude & Geneva (Johnson) Stamper; grandmother Connie Love; grandfather "Pa" Charlie Love; an uncle Donald Stamper; and a great-great aunt Della Betty.

Funeral Services for Christopher will be held Tuesday, January 13th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Lieutenant Kevin Robbins officiating. Military Honors will be conducted at Garden View Funeral Home following the service, by the United States Army and the Delaware County Honor Guard. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4- 8 p.m. Monday, January 12th, 2015 at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Muncie Mission or any Homeless Shelter of the donor''s choice, with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
