Cindy Showalter-Dalton, 51, of Muncie , IN went to be with the lord wednesday July 7, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie . She was born on May 25, 1959 the daughter of Barbara Jean Trent and Robert E Showalter.
Cindy was born in Muncie, IN; She attended Southside high school, and graduated from Blackford County High School in 1977. In her younger years, much of her time was spent in Eaton, IN; Where she attended the Church of God, she attended the youth group and sung publicly. As a teenager She was athletic. She participated in Volleyball, cheerleading, and softball. Fishing was her passion. Spending quality time with her Family as well as her Dog Baxter was her joy, She had a very deep religious belief in God. She adored her recent gift of her grandson, Linnie who was her pride and joy, as well as her children. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving relatives; include two sons and two daughters, McKaila Dalton of Muncie, IN; Morgan Mills of Indianapolis, IN; Israel Mills of Muncie, IN; Jeremiah Joseph Gaven of Oklahoma; her mother, Barbara Trent and father, Robert Showalter (Geneva Dale) both of Muncie, IN; two brothers and one sister, Doug Showalter of Bluffton, IN; Rod Showalter (Lindsey) of Eaton, IN; Melodie Becktell of Denver, CO; one step-sister, Robin Douthitt (Steven) of Muncie, IN; and one step-brother, Roger Wells (Janie) of Eaton, IN; one grandson, Linnie Balfour III of Muncie, IN and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
She preceeded in death by her Grandparents, Juanita and Wilson Trent and Wirt and Christene Reagan, Jesse Showalter and Irene Purtlebaugh.
There will be a service of remembrance where family and friends are welcome to attend. Pastor and uncle, Jim Showalter will be giving the eulogy scheduled on Wednesday, July 14th 2010 at Mansfield Park at 6:00p.m. Located at 2801 S.
