Clara Janavee Anderson, 64, of Parker, died Thursday morning, September 19th, 2013 at her residence, following an extended illness. She was born March 24th, 1949 in Robbins, TN and was the daughter of the late Henry D. & Mary G. (Owens) Epperson.
Clara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She loved to travel and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Clara was a member of the Fez mates and she retired in 2010 from Claritin Health as an administrator.
Clara is survived by her two children, Mark Anderson of Parker, and Lisa Walters (Chris) of Muncie; five grandchildren, Jared Anderson, Janavee Partain, Johnathan Partain, Christopher Walters, and Aaron Walters all of Muncie; one great-grandson Alexzavier Anderson of Muncie; two god-grandchildren, Matt King (Chelsie) and Chrisa Scheil both of Muncie; five god-great-grandchildren, Ryan King, Jordan King, Jalen Keihn, Jackson Keihn, and Markus Keihn, all of Muncie; three sisters, Jean Jennings (Arthur) of Marion, Ruth Spurling of Union, OH, and Janet McDonald of Noblesville; three brothers , John Epperson of Herman, TN, Alvin Epperson (Janett) of North Salem, and Nelson Epperson (Tina) of Marion. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years John N. Anderson in 2008; three sisters Faye Jennings, Mildred Peters, and Lorene Taylor.
Funeral Services for Clara will be held Tuesday, September 24th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Arthur Jennings officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, September 23rd, 2013 at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Little Red Door with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
