Clara E. Daniel, 72, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at her home in Parker City, following an extended illness.

Clara was born January 7, 1943 in Tracy City, TN to the late Guss and Elizabeth (Sanders) Hobbs. She attended Wilson Middle School and Central High School. She worked in quality control for Anchor Hocking Glass for over 30 years. Clara enjoyed reading, crocheting, and ceramics. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Clara is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jerry Daniel; seven children, Betty Neeley, Jerry Daniel Jr. (wife Donna), Scott Daniel (significant other Cindy), Kimber Vance, Tina Wilson (husband Jim), Dawn Kessler (husband Allen), and John Daniel (Sherri); two brothers, Don Hobbs (wife Connie) and Earl "Ray" Hobbs; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Clara was preceded in death by two children, Ronnie Daniel and Pam Foy; a brother, Roy Hobbs; and four grandchildren.

A funeral service to celebrate Clara''s life will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, IN. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday, at Garden View Funeral Home.
