Clinton E. Brown, 67, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at his home in Modoc, Indiana.

Clinton was born December 20, 1946 in Bell Farm, Kentucky to the late Roy and Bertha (Smith) Brown. He graduated from Selma High School in 1965 and went on to serve 24 years for the National Guard. Clinton worked as a custodian for OMCO Mould Co. before his retirement.

Clinton was a member and Treasurer of the New Life United Baptist Church in Selma. He was also a member of the Losantville Masonic Lodge #674 and the Ridgeville American Legion #105. He collected glassware, coins, and antiques and enjoyed attending flea markets, auctions, and thrift stores. He was also a fan of the Muncie Central Bearcats and the Cincinnati Reds.

Clinton is survived by his daughter, Cindy Marie Hufnagle (husband Josh) of Winchester; two granddaughters, Breea Faye Jones and Destiny Kaye Pitman; a brother, David Brown (wife Patsy) of Mooreland; a nephew, Timothy David Brown; a niece, Carly Schull (husband Mike); and his best friends, Jim and Jean Durham.

Clinton was preceded in death by a brother, Estle Levi Brown; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service to celebrate Clinton''s life will be held at 11:00am Friday, January 31, 2014 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana, with Pastor Danny Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with military honors conducted by Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday at Garden View Funeral Home with A Masonic service held at 7:30pm. Friends may also call one hour prior to services on Friday.
