Connie J. Harter, 74, of Muncie, IN. passed away on Saturday November 12, 2022 at I/U/ Ball Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born September 23, 1948 in Muncie, IN. She was the daughter of the late Eugene H. and Viva P. "Reed" Vorhees.

She retired from Commonwealth Insurance where she was the Office Manager for many years. She was a graduate of Royerton High School.

Connie loved playing cards, bowling when she was younger, taking care of everybodys babies, spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son: Robert (Deandra) Harter of Texas, daughters: April (Brad) Neal of Redkey, IN., Pam (Tim Ritchie) Wilson of Muncie, IN., grandchildren: Tyler New, Jacob Harter, Aaron Neal, Nick Neal, Zane Harter, Lexie Battenfield, Peighton Ritchie, Landon Ritchie, 4 great grandchildren, sisters Sharon (Jim) McClain of Muncie, IN and Jill (Tedd) Keever of Muncie, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Cory M. New.

Calling will be on Wednesday evening November 16, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Garden View Funeral Home at 10501 N. St. Rd. #, Muncie, IN 47303. Service will be on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. Susan Durovey-Antrim officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens Of Memory Cemetery.
