Obituary

Constancia "Connie Lou" Smith, 56, of Muncie, IN died at 5:22 p.m. Tuesday August 14, 2007 in Muncie. She was born on April 27, 1951 in Muncie the daughter of Fred and Connie (Adams) Frady. She was a 1969 graduate of Southside High School.
Connie Lou worked as a Home Heath Aid for several years until she began her battle with cancer. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the True Light Baptist Church in Muncie. She enjoyed selling Tupperware and Avon. She also recently enjoyed a wonderful trip to Hawaii.
Surviving relatives include four sons and six daughters, Sandra Watts (husband: Ray) of Dayton, TN; Laura Pemberton of Muncie, IN; David Smith (partner: Cole) of Anderson, IN; Melisa Smith of Muncie, IN; Daniel Smith of Losantville, IN; John Smith (wife: Denise) of Shelbyville, IN; Thomas "T.J." Smith (fianc: Rachael) of Muncie, IN; Mary Black of Muncie, IN; Kristen Dobbs of Eaton, IN and Ashlee Black of Albany, IN; two brothers, Danny Frady (wife: Debbie) of Austin, TX and John Pennycuff of Muncie, IN; three sisters, Diane Coleman (husband: Bob) of Muncie, IN; Delinda Cooper (husband: Dennis) of Eaton, IN and Carla Pennycuff of Muncie, IN; fifteen grandchildren, Michael; Amanda; R.J.; Robbie; Bridgette; Miranda; Trey; Samantha; Susie; Daniel; Alexis; Trey; Biancia; Tara and Kila; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Norma and JB Black; Vicki and Larry Dobbs; Brian Perry; Jennifer Clouse;Lee Kellogg; Kristi Wheadon; Eddie Pemberton; Yvonne Eutsler and many more special friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, step-father, Carl Pennycuff, and one niece, Miranda Cooper.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday August 17, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN 47303. Pastor Dennis Trimble will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Little Red Door Cancer Services of Delaware County. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
