Cora Lee Barnes, 86, of Muncie, departed this life on Saturday, February 13, 2010.
She was born January 22, 1924, in Carthage, MS.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband of 56 years, Clarence Barnes, Sr.; sons, James Barnes of Milwaukee, WI and Jesse (Venita) Barnes of Chicago, IL; brother, Hubert (Carolyn) Gee of Decatur, IL; sister Hattie Clayton of Carthage, MS; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cora was preceded in death by parents, Will and Elouise Gee; son, Clarence Barnes, Jr.; sister, Magenline Gee; and several brothers.
Funeral service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 820 S. Penn St, with viewing at 12:00 p.m.
Burial in Gardens Of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie, IN.
