Corine Helen Greer, 86, of Albany, IN went to be with the Lord Thursday September 30, 2010 at Albany Health and Rehab. She was born on April 28, 1924 in Marion, IN the daughter of George Fredrick and Hazel Josephine (Webb) Aul. On February 12, 1942 she married the love of her live Ray Greer who preceded her in death on February 1, 2004.
She was a member of the St. Mary''s Catholic Church in Dunkirk, IN. She enjoyed being active in the church and participating in church bazaars. She enjoyed arts, crafts, and sewing. She also enjoyed helping her husband on the family farm. She worked for the Ball Store furniture department for several years.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Ray Greer, Jr. (Pam) of Albany, IN; Eugene Fredrick Greer (Susan) of Maryland; two brothers, John and Jerry Aul of Muncie, IN; three sisters, Lorraine M. Greer of Muncie, IN; Mary Reed of Eaton, IN; Darlene Lee of Yorktown, IN; ten grandchildren, Gary Copley (Pam) of Albany, IN; Tim Copley of Georgia; Tracy Copley of Georgia; Aaron Greer of Albany, IN; Tammy Stoner of Muncie, IN; Patty Haisley (Scott) of Muncie, IN; Tonya Repass (Karl) of North Carolina; Jennifer Christensin (Steve) of Washington; Debbie Owens (Joe) of Utah; Jeff Greer (Mari) of Tennessee; 15 great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray Greer; daughter, Carolyn Sue McLaughlin; two brothers, Robert and Norman Aul; two sisters, Thelma Columbus and Lucille Barnes.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 9, 2010 at St. Marry''s Catholic Church in Dunkirk, IN. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Memorial contribution can be made to the Alzheimer''s Association in memory of Corine Greer.
