Crystal is now, what she has always been; God's incredibly unique creation & promise to all lives she touched.  She was a genuine friend & blessing to many souls along her journey.
Predeceased by her loving husband, David and her devoted parents Frank & Florence.
Crystal was a caring mother & wife (children Paula & Sara, and their father, Ken Ryden); and a dedicated art-teacher for many years.  She inspired hundreds of students to explore creative expression through color, form, and humor.  Her uncanny ability to find "playfulness" in everyday situations was one of her special gifts.
The ultimate joy of her life was being Grandmother ("Nana") to Sophie, Nicholas, Noah, Austin, Camille, Forrest & Cameron.  She never grew weary of finding ways to inspire their curiosity and fascination in the world around them.  She loved every single moment with them.  She was blessed with great-granddaughter, Eden and niece, Kayla, as well as beloved pets, Mitchell & Bently.
Her memory will remain with each of us that were blessed to know her gentle spirit.  A true angel on earth… God's promise fulfilled.
A committal service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:30 PM for Crystal at the Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplain David Gibson officiating. The mausoleum is located at 10703 North State Road 3 Muncie, Indiana 47303. Burial will be held afterwards in the cemetery.
