Cynthianna "Cindy" (Vorhees) Sturgeon, 69, of Muncie died Saturday morning, January 30th, 2016 at her mother''s residence. She was born March 7th, 1946 in Muncie and is the daughter of Della "Biddy" L. (Pherson) Vorhees and the late Virgil H. Vorhees.
Cynthianna enjoyed playing cards, coloring, and doll collecting. She enjoyed attending church and spending time with her family. Cynthianna enjoyed going out and eating.
Cynthianna is survived by her mother Della "Biddy" L. Vorhees of Muncie; a daughter Lesia Meer (Kenny) of Muncie; four grandsons David Alva of Indianapolis, Michael Meer of Twenty-Nine Palm, CA., and Nicholas Meer of Muncie, Kenneth Meer of Muncie; a granddaughter Kelcey Meer of Muncie; two brothers Harrold "Bud" Vorhees (June) of Yorktown and Jim Vorhees (Susie) of Anderson and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband Robert and a sister Cynthia Ann.
Memorial Services for Cynthianna will be held Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Temple, 3708 West 26th Street, Muncie with Pastor Rick Bowen officiating. Private Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Online condolence may be made at www.gardenviewfuneralhome.com
