Dani Lynn Burford, 55, of Mt. Pleasant died early Sunday morning, November 29th, 2015 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born October 30th, 1960 in Muncie and is the daughter of Shirley (Jones) Writtenhouse and the late Dannie "Pete" Writtenhouse.
Dani was employed as the manager of Low Bob''s in Hartford City. She enjoyed swimming, dancing, reading, being outside and spending time with her grandchildren.
Dani is survived by her mother Shirley (Jones) Writtenhouse of Muncie; her husband Wynne K. "Kirk" Burford of Muncie; two daughters Chelsea Thornburgh (Kyle Stewart) of Daleville and Trisha Thornburgh of Mt. Pleasant; an "adopted" daughter Toni Platt of Muncie; four grandchildren, Lucas Stewart, Ava Platt, Zachary Eiler, and Joey Hart; two sisters Debbie Marsh (Rodger) of Yorktown and Pam Enos (Mike) of FL. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a son Joseph K. Burford.
Funeral Services for Dani will be held Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Ballenger officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015 at the funeral home.
