Danny L. Irwin Jr., 58, of Yorktown, Indiana, passed away on October 6, 2025.

Born on October 23, 1966, to Danny Irwin Sr. and Bonnie (Holdren) Irwin, Danny grew up in Eaton, Indiana and graduated from Delta High School in the Class of 1985, where he was a proud member of the school band.

Danny served honorably in the United States Army as a mechanic. His military career took him to Fort Riley, Kansas, and Korea, and he bravely served during Desert Storm. Following his military service, he worked as a truck driver and was formerly employed at Diamond Plastic.

A devoted fan of motorsports, Danny especially enjoyed Formula One and NASCAR racing. He was a proud member of the American Legion in Yorktown, where he remained connected to fellow veterans and his community. He will be remembered for his dedication, service, and love for racing.

Survived by his daughter Jessica Irwin and Ashley Irwin ; father and mother Danny Irwin Sr. and Bonnie Irwin; grandchildren Klayten McCammon, Kaleb McCammon, Caiden Gaudbury, Leighton Gadbury and Colsten Gadbury: sister Tracey (Ross) Carlile.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., with burial at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.
