David E. Corn of Muncie, Indiana passed away at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana at the age of 79 on Thursday, March 4, 2021. He was born on November 12, 1941 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Marcus Doyle Corn and Sylvia Adeline (Parker) Corn.
David graduated from Gaston High School in 1959 and served in the United States Army from 1966 until 1968. He married Catherine (Toal) Carter on February 16, 1975. Most of all, Dave was an avid fisherman, mushroom hunter, dog lover, and collector of Hot Wheels and Muncie pottery. He was a familiar sight at Prairie Creek Reservoir in his corn crib toboggan, fishing from the bank or with his fishing buddy, John Cunningham in John's boat, enjoying the natural beauty of God's creations.
