David L. Darling, II of Muncie, Indiana passed away unexpectedly at home at the age of 51 the afternoon of Saturday, July 24, 2021. He was born on June 25, 1970 in Muncie, Indiana to David L. and Aline (Collier) Darling.

David graduated from Jefferson High in South Dakota and continued on to work as a Crane Operator for General Motors for 28 years. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. David enjoyed playing dice, shooting pool, and watching animal documentaries.

David is survived by his mother, Aline (Collier) Darling of Muncie, Indiana; one son, David L. Darling, III of Muncie, Indiana; two daughters, Julia N. Darling and Josie Griffis of Muncie, Indiana; and two sisters, Michelle L. Gerstoff and MaKayla A. Darling of Muncie, Indiana.

David was preceded in death by his father, David L. Darling.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with funeral services immediately following at 1:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home, officiated by Phil Miller and with Military Honors.
