Debra (Hall) Kortman, 60, of Muncie, lost her 17 year battle with COPD on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at her home.

Debra was born December 24, 1953 in Muncie to Earl and Janet Hall. She graduated from Muncie Northside High School. She worked 32 years at her parent''s station, Earl''s 66, previously Earl''s Texaco, as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and was also a past member of Ladies Variety Bowling League.

Debra is survived by her son, Cory Kortman; father, Earl Hall; three cousins, Melissa York, Jennifer Cooper, and Troy Inskeep; and several nieces and nephews.

Debra was preceded in death by her mother Janet Hall.

A funeral service to celebrate Debra''s life will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, IN, with Pastor Ron Elam officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00am to 1:00pm Thursday at Garden View Funeral Home.
