Deloris L. Flora, 86, of Parker City, IN, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Parker Health and Rehabilitation Center, Parker City, IN. She was born June 15, 1925 in Wabash County, IN to Ralph and Edna (Andreck) Brandenburg.
She was a member of the Parker City Christ Fellowship Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed babysitting.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas (Marsha) Flora of Warsaw, IN and James (Jackie) Flora of Round Rock, TX; Three daughters, Janice (Kim) Gilbert, of Parker City, IN, Kathleen (Oliver) Hogue of Temple, TX, and Karen (Michael) Pierce of Tallahassee, FL; Two sisters, Madeline Rhore of Leesburg, IN and Marjorie Gawn of Florida; Eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and one niece. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wilber, Donald, Richard and Robert Brandenburg; and one sister Eileen Patrick.
Visitation will be held September 20, 2011 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Funeral service at 10:00 a.m. and burial to follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
