Dennis G. Gray, 80, of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Muncie, IN passed away Thursday, October 25, 2007 at St. Bernard''s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born February 9, 1927 in Mudlick, Kentucky to the late James Emery and Edna (Proffitt) Gray.
He married Vivian Marie Hall on December 14, 1951 in Columbus, OH. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII. He was a retired spectrographer for Warner Gear in Muncie, IN. He enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Vivian Gray of Mountain Home; two sons, Doug and Donald Gray of Muncie, IN; one sister, Lennie Deverick of Simpsonville, SC; and two brothers, Leon Gray of Greentown, IN and Leroy Gray of Oakland, ILL.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and James Gray.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday November 17, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 in Muncie, IN. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. The Delaware County Honor Guard will honor Dennis G. Gray at the cemetery with Military Rites. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Casual dress will be welcome. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army.
