Diana Lynn Moore, 64, of Muncie, died Friday evening, July 3rd, 2015 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born October 8th, 1950 in Winchester, IN and was the daughter of the late Jacque G. Maitlen and Leona Swift (Burchnell).
Diana was an employee of Ball State University for 25 years. She loved to go to flea markets and craft shows, cooking, camping, and being with her family. Diana was a member of the Pilgrim Nazarene Church. She attended Muncie Central High School.
Diana is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Garry Lewis Moore of Muncie; five children, Thomas Curts (companion-Jennifer Lombardy) of Parker City, Roby Curts of Union City, Kristofer Moore of Pennsylvanian, Jennifer Moore of Orlando, FL, and Pamela Dunn of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren, Rachel Curts of Yorktown, Ryan Curts of Yorktown, Whitney Curts of Daleville, Peyton Curts of Anderson, Brooklynn Curts of Parker City, and Sawyer Curts of Parker City; four sisters, Jane Applegate (Stephen) of Muncie, Sandra Maitlen of Muncie, Jackie Nixon (Myron) of Muncie, and Kathie Ditton of Muncie; her step-mother Pauline Wills (Jerry) of Muncie; step-sister Cheryl Partin of Tennessee; two step-brothers Steven Swift of Muncie, and Scott Swift; father-in-law Stanley Moore (Marie) of Muncie; brother-in-laws Stanley Moore of Greensburg and Danny Moore of Yorktown; sister-in-law Linda McClain (Jim) of Yorktown; one uncle, three aunts and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father Tom Swift, brother Thomas E. Maitlen, and mother-in-law Clara Moore.
Funeral Services for Diana will be held Saturday, July 11th, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Scott Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
