Dianna Lynn Jones, 59, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Ball Memorial Hospital.
Dianna was born on March 28, 1950 in Hartford City to the late Charles R. Jones and Kathaleen Virginia (Monroe) Jones.
She graduated from Hartford City High School in 1968. She attended the University of Cincinnati and finished her Bachelor's Degree at Ball State University. She has a Master's in Gerontology and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ball State University.
She formally worked at and retired from the State of Indiana Medical Surveyor for Indiana State Board of Health.
Dianna will be sadly missed by her mother, Kathaleen V. Jones of Hartford City; brothers, William Jones of Linton, Indiana; Michael D. Jones of Hartford City; nephews, Chris Ball, Ryan Jones and Scott Jones; great-niece Sierra Ball; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles R. Jones and brother, Gary Gene Jones.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Keplinger Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd 3, Muncie, IN.
Visitation for Dianna will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2009 and from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City.
