Donald E. Stamper, 65, of Muncie passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024. He was born to the late Donald W. Stamper and Elizabeth "Elaine" Friedman.

Don was a hard worker and a proud owner of Stamper Construction. When Don was not working, you would find him on his boat or spending time with the grandchildren. He loved being called Papaw and his faith in God was always very important to him. Don played sports for most of his younger life, and loved supporting his Colts, Pacers and Cincinnati Reds.

Don is a 1976 graduate of Wapahani High School and he earned his bachelor's degree in Accounting at Ball State University. He was a  very giving and caring person and always helped friends in need.


Don is survived by his wife Deanne Stamper; children Cody Stamper and Megan (Derek) Bohm; step children Brandon (Malinda) McComas and Janelle Vance; grandchildren Felix Bohm, Gwendolyn Bohm, Chevella Jones and Avery McComas; brother David Stamper; best friend Jack Rhodes; mother in law Sonita Smith; brothers in law Dean (Lorrina) Smith and Don (Laura) Smith; sister in law Dayna (Jeff) Bloch and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends . He is preceded in death by both parents and a brother Mark Stamper.


Visitation will be Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Garden View Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory following the service.
