Dorothy Aileen (Williams) Walradth, 86, of Bradenton, FL., died early Tuesday morning, January 14th, 2014 at Parker Health Care. She was born August 17th, 1927 in Muncie, IN, and was the daughter of the late Fred & Minnie (Copping) Williams.
Dorothy owned and operated Dorothy''s Upholstery and Interior''s in Bradenton, FL, for 39 years. She was a member of ABWA (American Business Women''s Association). Dorothy enjoyed bowling, ballroom dancing, and vacationing. She loved to travel and be near the oceans. Dorothy graduated from Business College in Muncie, and she was a member of the United Brethren Church in Mt. Pleasant for many years.
Dorothy is survived by her three children; Dianna Lynn Golliher (Michael) of Milton, KY, Robert Wayne Walradth II (Nancy) of Parker City, and Rita Kay Butler (Jim) of Georgetown, KY; six grandchildren, Jamie Butler, Robert Walradth III (Cathy), Jason Butler, Derrick Butler (Dana), Chris Hendricks, and Stacey Childers (Jimmy); nine great-grandchildren, Josh Hendricks, Nathanial Hendricks, Courtney Butler, Joel Butler, Kayden Hensley, Cody Hendricks, Drake Hendricks, Tanner Walradth, Brian Walradth, and Kaylynn Nelson; a sister, Lorraine LaDuron of Farmland; close cousins Darryll and Carroll Copping; close friends Charlotte Kuhns, Rita Castle, Ann Magahey, Henrietta Kirklin, and Nancy Tucker; several nieces, nephews, and cousins survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by four grandchildren, Robert E. Hendricks, Shannon Brooke Walradth, Brandon Thomas Walradth, and Darren Todd Hendricks; a brother Doyle Williams also preceded her in death.
Funeral Services for Dorothy will be held Friday, January 17th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home with Rev. Toby Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to New Hope Hospice with envelopes provided at the funeral home
