Dortha H. Huffer, age 88, of Muncie, passed away at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on June 11, 2011. Dortha was born February 3, 1923 in Muncie to Carl Earl and Hazel (Alvey) Conyers. She was an owner and operator of several local businesses. Dortha was a member of the Muncie Loyal Order of the Moose, and was a Room Mother for many local elementary schools. Dortha loved to cook and spend time with her family. She married Robert M. Huffer and he preceded her in death on June 29, 1990. She is survived by her son, David (Carole) Huffer and one grandson, Weston Huffer. Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3 Muncie, IN will be assisting with arrangements and services will be private at Dortha''s request. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie, IN.
