Dortha E. Koger, 83, of Muncie, IN passed away June 14, 2007. She was born May 28, 1924 in Muncie to the late Fred and Monnie (Haisley) Hoover.
She attended Glad Tidings Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family on Dale Hollow Lake and was an avid bowler. Dortha was a past member of Eastern Star 104.
Surviving relatives include her husband of 48 years, Elmer Koger of Muncie; two sons, Fred Webb (wife - Joann) of Pennsylvania and Chris Koger (wife - Angie) of Muncie; one daughter, Teresa Wiswasser (husband - Brett) of Muncie; five grandchildren, Shawn (wife - Michelle) of Atlanta, GA, Shanna (husband - Chuck) of Atlanta, GA, Kaitlin and Berkley of Muncie, Monica of Pennsylvania; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Dortha was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Donald, Harold and Bob Hoover.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Monday, June 18, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie, IN with Pastor Kevin Holt officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
