Douglas Shane Stanley of Muncie, Indiana passed away at the age of 44 at home late Wednesday, October 20, 2021. He was born on January 14, 1977 in Muncie to William J. and Judy (Yadon) Stanley.

Douglas graduated from Delta High School in Muncie and completed some post-graduate studies. He worked as a Funeral Attendant at Keplinger Funeral Home in Hartford City, Indiana. He attended White Chapel Church in Albany, Indiana. He loved classic cars, loved life, and will be remembered as a loving brother, son, and uncle.

Douglas is survived by his mother, Judy (Yadon) Stanley of Muncie; his sister, Julie A. Castor of Muncie; nieces and nephews, Kylie Estep (Brandon) of Albany, Lauren Craycraft (Allie) of Yorktown, Indiana; Hayden Castor of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Blake Castor of Muncie; great nieces and nephews, Zion and Aurora Craycraft of Yorktown; and several aunts and uncles.

Douglas was preceded in death by his father, William (Bill) Joe Stanley.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with funeral services immediately following at 1:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home, officiated by Todd Castor. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
