Doyle J. Anderson, 76, of Farmland, died late Friday night, July 5th, 2013 at his residence in Farmland. He was born April 15th, 1937 in Grunsley, TN, and was the son of the late John Allen & Janie (Young) Anderson.
Doyle retired from Warner Gear in Muncie. He enjoyed country music, and watching western movies. He built his own home in Farmland, and loved being outdoors.
Doyle is survived by wife Rhonda Gale (Thornton) Anderson, of Farmland; a daughter Angela Jane Hazelbaker (Brian) of Parker City; a son Nick Anderson of Farmland; three grandchildren, Erica Slusher of Selma, Haylee Goad (Dustin) of Carmel, and Lucas Blair of Selma; one great-grandson Dylan Goad of Carmel; two brothers Donald Anderson of Muncie, and Glenn Anderson of Jamestown, TN; one niece and three nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Toney Anderson.
Private Graveside Services will be held in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Garden View Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Monroe Central Elementary School c/o Physical Education Department.
