Dylan Jefferson Ankrum, 29 of Muncie, died Monday afternoon, May 29th, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born July 5th, 1987 in Bend, Oregon and is the son of Stewart & Susie (Sanderson) Allen.
Dylan was employed as a welder/fitter and was not only a hard-working man, but also an amazing husband, son, and brother. Dylan lived most of his life in Hawaii, where he met the love of his life Danielle Beatrice Walker. He loved listening to music, working out, tinkering with his machines and being surrounded by friends; sometimes with a cold beer in hand. Dylan adored his ornery pet dog "Rambo" and enjoyed living in Indiana, especially being in the new home that they just purchased.
Dylan is survived by his loving wife Danielle Beatrice (Walker) Ankrum of Muncie, whom he married August 27, 2016 in Keystone (Dillon), Colorado; his parents Stewart & Susie (Sanderson) Allen of Bend, OR; two brothers Henry Allen and Stewart "Stewy" Allen of Bend, OR; his maternal grandfather Robert Sanderson of Vale, OR; an uncle John Sanderson of Vale, OR; an aunt Annie Sanderson of Weezer, ID.
Funeral Services for Dylan will be held Saturday, June 24th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
