Earl Jefferson, Jr., 92 of Muncie, died Tuesday morning, March 20 , 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born February 16, 1926  in Muncie and was the son of the late Earl, Sr. & Eva (Dale) Jefferson.

Earl was a graduate of Royerton High School. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States marine Corp during WWII in the 2 ^nd Air Wing. Earl was Vice-President of Al Pete Meats for 31 years and  a member of The Garden at Gethsemane United Methodist Church.

Earl is survived by his two children Stephen Jefferson (Terry Baxter-Jefferson) of Kalamazoo, MI and Susan Young of Georgetown, KY; five grandchildren Sarah Maass (Philip) of Wayland, MI, Andrew Jefferson (Amy) of Clearwater, FL, Kate Jefferson (Ross) of Kalamazoo, MI, Anne Jefferson (Adam) of Washington, DC and Chad Stewart (Melissa) of Georgetown, KY; eight great-grandchildren Riess Jefferson, Cody Stewart, Emily Stewart, Alison Stewart, Aaron Maass, Henry Maass, Emma Maass, and Amy Maass. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years Carol Lee Jefferson (Riess) on February 28, 2018.
