Earlene L. Hunt, 83, of Muncie, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Liberty Village Health Care. Born on January 15, 1930, in Muncie, she was the daughter of the late Larry and Dorothy (Monks) Deer.
Earlene married Howard Eugene Hunt on June 19, 1948. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Muncie. She was also a member of the Friends Memorial Church. Earlene participated with the Village Belles Home Economics Club, Muncie Civic Theatre, the Jayshees, and she also volunteered her time at the Republican Headquarters. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with dear friends in Cocoa Beach, Florida and traveling.

Survivors include daughters: Sharyn (Jerry) Bruner of Burlington, NC, Sandi (Tom) Giles of Lascassas, TN, Cherilyn (Rolly) Bousman, and Jennifer (Tony) Lawson both of Selma; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents Earlene was preceded in death by her husband Howard Hunt, grandson Brent Bruner, and 2 great grandsons.

Friends may call on Saturday November 2, 2013 from 5-7p.m. at the Garden View Funeral Home 10501 N. Indiana 3, Muncie. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
