Earnie Marie Holliday, 85, of Muncie, died Wednesday evening, December 10th, 2014 at her residence. She was born September 11th, 1929 in Monticello, KY, and was the daughter of the late Albert & Girty (Foster) Dobbs.
Earnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, camping, reading, shopping, and going to church. Earnie retired from Woodlawn Nursing Home.
Earnie is survived by her two children; Charles David Holliday and Ann Marie Couch (Willie) both of Muncie; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren; a sister Ellamae Holliday (Gene) of Muncie; sister-in-law Louise Dobbs of Muncie; special friends Weda Purneil, Brenda Workman, Eva Smith, and Berenice . In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence; two sisters Alta Lewis and Nellie Meyers; a brother Stanley Dobbs.
Funeral Services for Earnie will be held Monday, December 15th, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastors Lewis Davis and Ronald Black officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, December 14th, 2014 at the funeral home.
