Edith "Pat" Naomi Hutson, 96, of Muncie, died Friday afternoon, November 30th, 2012 at Alternative Care Nursing Facility in Middletown. She was born July 5th, 1916 in Cowan, IN., and was the daughter of the late James William & Mary Iva (Minnick) Heaton.
Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was a person who loved to laugh and enjoy life. She enjoyed flowers, birds, and especially being outdoors at her and her late husband Bill''s lake cottage on Snow Lake. She retired in 1975 from Ball Memorial Hospital as a lab assistant.
Pat is survived by her four children; Sandy Vickrey (John) of Ft. Wayne, Randy Hutson (Bonnie) of Springport, Cathie Stanley of Fremont, and William Hutson of Muncie; seven grandsons; two step-grandaughters; twelve great-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a brother, Ralph Heaton of Bangor, MI.; and a sister Anna Mary Halstead of Muncie; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Lester Hutson in April of 2011; a step-grandson; six brothers and four sisters.
Funeral Services for Pat will be held Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastors Mark O''Brien and John Vickrey officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
