Edith Mae Mandy, 62, of Muncie IN died Monday December 10, 2007 in Muncie. She was born on September 14, 1945 in Somerset Ky. the daughter of William and Beatrice (Denham) Hollars. She married Richard Vernon Mandy on December 9, 1974 in Rockville, Maryland.
She retired from Seven Eleven Store as a manager in 1997 after 16 years of service. She was a member of the Riverview Nazarene Church in Muncie.
Surviving relatives include her husband Richard Mandy of Muncie, mother Beatrice Hollars of Muncie, sons Brian Anderson (wife Teresa) of Muncie, Robert Anderson(wife Melissa) of Muncie, brother William Hollars of Muncie, sisters Georgia Shaft( fianc Robert Wood) of Perry, MI, Betty Warren of Muncie, Brenda Bebout of Muncie. Two grandchildren Vincent, Elizabeth Anderson of Muncie; five nieces; three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father William Hollars, sister Peggy Jo Hollars.
Services will be Thursday December 13, 2007 at 2:00p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie IN. Pastor Dave Shipman will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Little Red Door Cancer Service of Muncie. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
