Edna M. Anderson, 80, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011, at Liberty Village.
She was born May 14, 1930, in Paoli, Indiana, the daughter of William A. and Rella (Mathers) Beaty. She grew up in Paoli where she graduated from Paoli High School.
Mrs. Anderson was secretary at Naze-Perry Insurance Company prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Selma; Ross Center euchre Club; Forest Park Euchre Club; Women of the Moose and the Eagles Lodge Auxiliary.
She was a volunteer at Ball Memorial Hospital and RSVP.
Surviving are two sons, Tom R. Anderson, Muncie, Mark Anderson, (wife, Terri), Loveland, Ohio; three granddaughters, Ashleigh L. Gibson, (husband, Brian), Emmie Rae Anderson, and Ashton Brown; a great-grandson, Lucas A. Gibson; her sister-in-law, Audrey Anderson, Selma; a brother-in-law, Joe Pierceall, Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-six years, Howard R. Anderson; two brothers, Russell Beaty and Albert Beaty; and seven sisters, Inez Feltt, Edith Bullington, Alma Buchanon, Mary Buchanon, Ruth Bullington, Doris Pierceall and Grace Drumm.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2011 at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Dennis Rush officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday and an hour prior to the services at the mortuary on Monday.
Memorials may be sent to Cancer Services of East Central Indiana, Little Red Door, or to Hospice at Ball Memorial Hospital.
