Edna Kathleen McCammon of Muncie, Indiana passed away at the age of 89 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital the morning of Friday, September 24, 2021. She was born in Gleason, Indiana on November 5, 1931 to the late William James and Martha A. (Chandler) Brock.

Edna married Doyne E. McCammon on April 4, 1948, and together they journeyed through life until his passing on July 20, 2009. Edna lovingly made a home for their family. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed dancing, sewing, cooking, fishing, and shopping. She was a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodge and attended church.

Edna is survived by her daughters, Theresa Hart of Muncie, Indiana and Melisa and Bradley Grinnen of Indianapolis, Indiana; one brother, Billy Brock of Oakland City, Indiana; six grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, William James and Martha A. (Chandler) Brock; one daughter, Denisa Roderick (Mike); one son-in-law, George Hart; and four sisters, Alice Gilmore, Blanche Drew, Rosa Marshall, and Gloria Bowman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie. Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home, officiated by Lane Fairchild and Dan Caldwell. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
