Obituary

Edna Mae Weaver, 99, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away at 1:42 pm, on March 23, 2026, at Cumberland House in Crossville. She was born in Hartford City, Indiana, on May 11, 1926, to Everett and Mary (Houdeshell) Ault. She married Ben Weaver and he preceded her in 1982.

She worked for Ball Brothers for over 40 years and was a past member of the Nazarene Church in Yorktown and Eaton Church of God.

She enjoyed playing BINGO anywhere she could and traveling to site-see. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping with her family at Cabin Creek Campground in Farmland. She’ll be remembered by many as “Aunt Mae”.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Scott) Griffin of Crossville; a grandson, Ben (Emily) Griffin of Crossville; great grandchildren, Braxton James and Melody Mae Ann Griffin; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Mary Ault; husband, Ben Weaver; sisters, Helen Maynard and Dora Rebecca Brewer; brothers, Martin and Allen Ault.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd 3, Muncie, IN 47303.

A service to celebrate Edna‘s life will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jason Trimble officiating.

Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Muncie, Indiana.
