Obituary

Eldona J. Beehler, 61, of Muncie, IN died 9:59 p.m. Saturday June 9, 2007 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. She was born on December 12, 1945 in Elkhart, IN the daughter of Russell and Kahte (Goldt) Antonides. On August 20, 1967 in Warsaw, IN she married Fred Beehler who survives.
She graduated from Ball State University in 1969. After 32 years of teaching mathematics, she retired from Wes-Del Schools. She loved teaching and was involved in numerous school activities. Outside of school she was involved with home economics, and the book club. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and quilting. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends.
Surviving relatives include her husband Fred Beehler of Muncie, IN; her mother Kahte Antonides of Milford, IN; one son, Chad Beehler (wife: Michelle) of Fishers, IN; daughter, Steffani Bennett (husband: Terry) of Gaston, IN; two brothers, Edward Antonides (wife: Nancy) and Randy Antonides both of Warsaw, IN; one sister, Mary Katherine Hanes of Warsaw, IN; four grandchildren, Clayton Beehler; Garrett Beehler; Emma Beehler; and Braydon Bennett; mother-in-law, Fern Beehler of Wakarusa, IN; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Lydia Beehler of Angola, IN and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and father-in-law, Clayton Beehler.
Services are scheduled for 12:00 noon Wednesday June 13, 2007 at the Eden Church 11205 N. State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Jim Behrandt will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. and also on Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Memorial contributions can be made to the Eden Church Flower Fund or to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
