Eleanor Sue (Kelly) Gregory of Muncie, Indiana passed away at Bethel Pointe in Muncie at the age of 88 on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. She was born on January 5, 1933 in Burkesville, Kentucky to the late Joe Bob and Eddie E. (Smith) Teel.

Eleanor attended beauty college and began her work as a hairdresser. After selling the shop on McGalliard, she opened up one in her home before returning to college to begin work as a home caregiver. She enjoyed volunteering in the community when possible. She greatly enjoyed spending time with all of her family and friends. She enjoyed attending church services at Bethel Pointe, where she was able to continue her Baptist faith.

Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Marsha Piercy and Karen Waters (Darrel); sister, Mary Furniss (Oliver); brothers, John Teal and Roger Teel; four grandchildren, Jill Kinder (Jim), Jesse Tarr (Bobbie), Ronnie Bonshire, and Joseph Bonshire; ten great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Bob and Eddie E. (Smith) Teel; husband, Rex Gregory; son, Rick Kelly; grandson, Nathan Kelly; sisters, Willa Riddle (Newell), Jocie Holliday, and Addie Lawson (Gorman); brother, Emery Teal; and sisters-in-law, Betty Teal, Peggy Teal, and Sharon Teel.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with memorial services immediately following at 6:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home, officiated by Phil Rogers.
