The exciting moments of pregnancy have turned to sorrow and heartfelt loss with the passing of infant Elijah Nathaniel Jones (Shockley), on Thursday, October 7, 2010. He is the infant son of Jessica Nicole Jones and Branden Jay Shockley, both of Muncie.
Additional survivors include his young brothers: Avry and Isiah Jones; maternal grandmother Pamela Jones; maternal grandfather Daniel Vance; and paternal grandmother Diana Shockley, all of Muncie; great-grandmothers Margaret Jones and Cora Vance, both of Muncie; great-grandfather Marion Shockley, Jr., of Muncie; great-great grandmother Della Hults of Ohio; Aunt Cieara Jones of Muncie; Uncles Terrance Pac-Man'' Sevion and Seth Shockley, both of Muncie; and cousin Caylei.
Those whom have passed before young Elijah include his great-grandmother Thelma Shockley; great-grandfathers Carl Jones and Joe Vance; and great-great grandfather Cecil Hults.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Fred Ellis officiating. The burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
