Elizabeth Ann Clairday, 81, of Springport, died late Sunday night, August 5th, 2012, at the Waters of New Castle. She was born October 19th, 1930 in Aureal, Iowa, and was the daughter of the late Morris & Hazel (Headly) Eddy. Elizabeth was a homemaker, whom loved to take care of her family. She received her teaching licenses'' in Iowa, where she taught kinder garden for many years. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star in Albany, IN. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Ernest Clairday of Springport; three daughters, Debborah Bradley of Yorktown, Pattie Grymala of New Mexico, and Rebecca (Keith) Cartwright of Muncie; three granddaughters, Jessica Edwards of Selma, Monica Clairday of Redkey, Amber (Danny) Posocco of Redkey; a grandson Christopher (Crystal) Clairday of Yorktown; ten great-grandchildren; a sister Jean Schutter of Ames, Iowa. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son William James Clairday on August 11th, 2004. Funeral Services for Elizabeth will be held, Wednesday, August 15th, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home in Muncie with Pastor Fran Bullock officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Friends and Family may call Wednesday, August 15th, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
