Josie Elizabeth McCain was born September 29,1931 to James and Lula Belcher in Abbeville, South Carolina.

Liz was the second to youngest of 7. She moved to Evanston, Illinois in her teenage years and graduated from Evanston Township High School in 1947. On Christmas of 1959 she married Johnnie McCain, and moved to Muncie, Indiana.

In Muncie Liz worked as a surgical technician at Ball Memorial Hospital for over 20 years, was the treasurer of Union Baptist Church, and owned many businesses with her husband. Elizabeth passed away January 13, 2022 peacefully in her sleep. She leaves behind to cherish her memory.

Son; John McCain (Muncie,IN), Daughter; Carol Hudson (Anderson, SC), Sister; Lila McHaney (Indianapolis, IN), 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of other family members.

Liz will be met at heavens gates by husband Johnnie, both of her parents, her niece, Kimberly McHaney, and 6 of her brothers and sisters.

Services will be held at Garden View Funeral Home on January 31, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. Services will begin at 1:00 P.M. Final disposition will follow after services at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
