Ella Mae Ramey, 85 of Muncie, died Saturday morning, December 30, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born September 10, 1932 in Yamacraw, KY and was the daughter of Louie & Opal Allean (Tucker) Keith.
Ella loved traveling and being with her family. Her hobbies included making crafts and needlepoint.
Ella is survived by her husband of 32 years Huey Ray Ramey of Muncie; daughter Anna "Jeannie" Brown of Muncie; son Mark Ramey of Muncie; four granddaughters Lynn Hicks(Buster) of San Antonia, TX, Beverly Brand of Muncie, Tammy Hicks of Muncie and Sarah Edwards (Brian) of Blacksburg, SC; four grandsons Joe Hicks of Muncie, Ed Hicks (Sonya) of San Antonia, TX, Paul Ramey of East Jordan, MI and Josh Ramey of Charlotte, NC; twenty-one great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Michael Ramey; infant twin son Keith Allen Ramey, infant daughter Patricia Elaine Ramey; a sister Louise Ramey.
Funeral Services for Ella will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Dennis Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon, Friday at the funeral home.
