Seven Months and eight days after losing her beloved husband, she walked unaided, strong and whole again, through Heaven's gates into J.T's arms. Em and J.T. together again, forever.

Emily Anne Monroe was born to the late Frank William and Mabel Jane (Collins) Monroe, on November 5, 1929. She was the seventh of nine children. A lifelong resident of Delaware County, she graduated in 1947 from Center High School. She was a faithful member of Fairlawn Church of Christ and formed many lasting bonds with her Christian sisters and brothers.

She fell in love with the boy farming next door out on State Road 67 and married John Thomas Heath on April 13, 1948. Together they raised four sons and a daughter. Her favorite jobs were wife, mother, and homemaker. A long time employee of the J.C. Penny Company, she quickly rose to the position of office manager and retired after many years of service.

Preceded in death by her husband J.T., son-in law; Alan W. Rieser, her parents; Frank and Mabel, three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her youngest sister Sandy Brown (Jess) of Sun City West, AZ. Her sons; Randall W. Heath (Donna) of Sun City Center, FL, Andrew J. Heath (Susan) of Franklin, TN, John T. Heath Jr. (Kristina) of Greenville, OH, Terry L. Heath (Virgina Barrios) of Fishers, IN, daughter; Connie Heath-Rieser of Sun City Center, FL. She has fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

She was the silken thread that held the family together and she will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at Garden View Funeral Home in Muncie on Friday January 21, 2022; Visitation starts at 11:00 A.M. and services following at 1:00 P.M. Final disposition will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery following services.
