Emma Jean Mc Feely, 79, of Hartford City, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, February 28, 2010, in the home of her daughter.
The daughter of Earl B. and Lora May (Legue) Clendenin, she was born March 13, 1930, in Hand County, South Dakota. She resided in Blackford County most of her life except for a few years in Jennings County and Eaton.
Emma married Ira H. (Mac) Mc Feely, Jr. in Hartford City on June 29, 1946. His death occurred February 23, 1983.
Survivors include four daughters, Sharon Gray, Muncie, Linda (William) Elliott, Eaton, Debra (Timothy) Dragoo, Eaton and Denise (Richard) Bacon, Hartford City; nine grandchildren, Charles Gray, Jr., Steven Gray, Shawn Dragoo, Matthew Dragoo, William Bacon, Richard Bacon, Jr., Julie Maxwell, Diana Miller and Melissa Booher; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Clendenin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 at the Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City, with Rev. Raymond Lake officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Waters Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Friday.
