Esther Elizabeth Wright, 86, of Muncie, died Monday morning May 14th, 2012 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born May 13th, 1926 in Portland, IN and was the daughter of the late Marvin & Ethel (Swank) McNutt. She was a loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed shopping and caring for her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, William "Ron" (Trisha) Gick of Columbia , TN., Gary Gick of Muncie and Terry (Vickie) Gick of Muncie; a daughter Mary (Bruce) Ward of Muncie; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; a sister Ruth Turney of Muncie; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Wright in 1987; a sister Vivian Dean and an infant sister Kathleen McNutt. Funeral Services for Esther will be held Thursday, May 17th , 2012 at 12:00 noon at the Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Trimble of True Light Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Friends and Family may call Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon.
