Ethel Leora Jane Privett of Muncie, Indiana went home to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 89 on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Bethel Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center in Muncie. She was born in Dunkirk, Indiana on March 6, 1932 to the late Darrell and Nina Jane Osborn.

Leora was a beautiful, happy soul who devoted her life to Jesus Christ, attending church at Northside Assembly of God and Community Church in Muncie. She always had a loving smile on her face and never failed to make the best of everything. She enjoyed playing cards, coloring, and reading books and had a deep love for flowers, spending her free time in her garden. She had an endless love for her family and friends and will be missed by several, but will forever live in our hearts.

Leora leaves behind her brother, Jerry Osborn; sister, Elnora Elliot; sons, Ralph Privett (Kandise) and Steven Privett, Sr. (Lillian); daughter, Penny Shannon; grandchildren, Steven Privett, Jr. (Rhonda), Shawn Privett, Melissa Connors (Will), Theresa Navarra (Alex), and Natalie Privett; great grandchildren, Taylor Privett, Clay Privett, Preston Privett, Paris Privett, Nicole Privett, Kingston Connors, and Conrad Connors; and a dear friend, Sandy Creamer and her family.

Leora was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Privett; parents, Darrell and Nina Jane Osborn; and brother, Victor Osborn.

UPDATED: Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with funeral services immediately following at 1:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home.
