Ethel Mae Hutchens, 93, of Eaton, died Tuesday morning, March 10th, 2015 at her residence. She was born April 12th, 1921 in Muncie, and was the daughter of the late Frank & Lillie M. (Upton) Matchett.
Ethel is survived by one son Gerald (Bob) Hutchens of New York; three daughters, Judy Hines, Lillie Ramsey both of Eaton, and Wanda Chriswell (Jim) of Royerton; nineteen grandchildren, fifty-three great-grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-great grandchildren; a special friend Effie Alexander. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Marion Hutchens; three sons, Dannie Bailey, Marion Hutchens, and Stanley Hutchens; eight sisters, four brothers, and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, March 28th, 2015 at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Brian Ramsey officiating in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. There will be a gathering for family and friends at the Eaton Church of God Family Center, located at 700 North Harris Street in Eaton, IN following the service. Memorial Contributions may be directed to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Garden View Funeral Home
