Eva Christine Campbell, 83, of Muncie, died Sunday afternoon, February 22nd, 2015 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born September 21st, 1931 in Cartwright, KY, and was the daughter of the late Lonzo Edison & Lucy Marie (Brown) Hoover.
Christine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to serve the Lord and read about Jesus. She attended Full Gospel Temple. Christine loved raising flowers and tending to her yard work.
Christine is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Cordell Herbert Campbell, whom she married July 2nd, 1948 of Muncie; a son Kenneth Cordell Campbell (Edie) of Ft. Wayne; a daughter Sheila Kay Craycraft of Muncie; three grandchildren, Rachel Menefee (Bret Taylor) of Chicago, IL, Adriana Menefee (Nicholas Steuer) of Lafayette, IN, and Sean Campbell of Chicago, IL; a brother Jimmy Dallas Hoover of Yorktown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death a brother Earl Daniel Hoover.
Funeral Services for Christine will be held Monday, March 2nd, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
