Evelyn I. Austin, 99 of Muncie passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2025. She was born to the late Thomas and Etta M. White.

Evelyn enjoyed playing golf, bowling, skiing and riding her bike.

Evelyn is survived by her two daughters Rebecca (Mike) Austin-Tuttle and Anita (Mike) Himes; three grandchildren Brad (Angie) Himes, Wade Himes and Natilee (Matt) Bilkey; eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by both parents; husband Eugene Austin;  a son Bradley; and six sisters and two brothers.

A visitation will be on Monday, November 24, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of service at Garden View Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Evelyn will be laid to rest next to her husband Eugene at Gardens of Memory.
